Autism is a neurological and developmental disorder in which people often struggle with emotional and social interactions and communication. Consequently, this can impact their learning and behaviour. Nowadays, advancements in technology have contributed to the invention of helpful tools for educating children with autism. One of these tools is an interactive robot designed for the education and development of children with autism. This interactive robot focuses in emotion recognition exercises with children. It simulates various scenarios that assist children in enhancing their communication and social abilities. Additionally, it creates a secure environment where they can express their feelings and experience different emotional responses, significantly raising their self-confidence.
